ABOUT

The Victorian NAIDOC Committee is a volunteer-led group committed to celebrating and elevating the voices, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Victoria.

Each year, we proudly coordinate NAIDOC Week events and initiatives that honour the enduring strength, resistance, and excellence of our communities. From our flagship Victorian NAIDOC Awards to community gatherings, marches, and our famous annual Vic NAIDOC Ball, we create opportunities for recognition, connection, and celebration.

Guided by this year’s NAIDOC theme and grounded in the legacy of those who have come before us, we work in partnership with community to ensure NAIDOC Week in Victoria is inclusive, powerful, and led by mob.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters across Victoria and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also recognise the continuing leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their role in shaping a more just and equitable future for all.
